LITTLE BIKKIE RECIPE: Gingerbread Cookies

Gingerbread cookie dough is soft, sticky and spreads A LOT during baking, right? Not this one! I have adapted my recipe to give you a dough that is easy to handle and that holds its shape well during baking. This recipe will give you a cookie with minimal spread, ideal for decorating with fondant. I have also included easy adaptations for a more traditional, puffier gingerbread cookie if that's more your preference!

A small amount of vanilla bean powder is used in this recipe. I currently use Vanilla Bean House (www.vanillabeanhouse.com.au) vanilla bean powder and if you would like to give it a try, you can use my discount code LILBIKKIE for 10% off.
